Fees are important but not the only factor in counselling.
Many clients report that fees are more feasible than they first imagined as we work out the frequency of their appointments after the initial intake assessment phase.
Try and look at counselling as an investment in yourself, your relationships, your goals and your future. If you are ready and willing to do the work, it will save you time and money in the long run! Your committed enagement in counselling builds trust and your capacity to explore possibilities for change.
If my fees are not feasible, we will discuss community agencies that have the capacity to provide low to no cost counselling to you.
REFLECTIVE SUPERVISION for Individual I Group I Supervision of Supervision

Supervision is a committed, collaborative process between the therapist and supervisor to reflect on practice, informed by developmental, contextual and systemic processes that impact on the therapist and client outcomes. It is a safe space to bravely explore ethical practice from multiple perspectives with feedback to improve your client outcomes. While we acknowledge the power differential between a supervisor and counsellor, we respect the values of equality and responsibility in our shared human experience and as professional colleagues.
Supervision is the interpersonal relationship and interaction between client, supervisee/therapist and the supervisor. The Double Matrix or Seven-eyed Supervision approach by Shohet & Hawkins guides us to track and adjust our processes. We 'keep an eye' on maintaining a safe space for our growth edges and be responsive to our blind spots with compassion rather than judgement. We foster transparency, openness and curiosity to learn and receive feedback about our work and our therapist self.
Please contact me to discuss your supervision goals and needs.
Group Supervision
This is a great option for learning and mutual support between peers. It is a more affordable option depending on your caseload and professional needs. We all need to experience support as well as creative challenge to grow. A safe and well facilitated group process will do both. We recognise and receive this mentoring beyond our graduate studies and class supervision to continue our growth. Groups are limited to 5 - 8 supervisees (PACFA standard). Together we prioritise meeting regularly recognising this helps to grow trust and commitment for the group.
What if a group has members who know each other? This is acceptable if this known and there is no conflict of interest or dual or close friendships that could potentially interfere with the group dynamics.
