Supervision is a commitment and collaborative process between supervisor and therapist to reflect on practice informed by developmental, contextual and systemic processes that impact on the therapist-client alliance. We provide feedback to each other and from clients to improve our effectiveness in our work with them.
The supervision process recognises the primacy of interaction between client and therapist. It is the space where change and growth can happen. This space is interactional and dynamic and stirs up things not only for the client but for therapist as well! Through supervision we can be open and curious, learn together, learn from our mistakes and celebrate what we do well. Please contact me to discuss your supervision goals and needs.
